Founded in 1997, CLASS has built a reputation as the most influential UK bar industry publication. Published quarterly and targeting the UK’s craft bar scene, it is the essential read for bartenders, bar managers and bar owners, combining straight-talking trade journalism with contemporary, artistic design.
For this CLASS magazine supplement, I led the editorial design from concept to completion, creating both the cover and templates for the interior layouts. The aim was a cohesive visual that reflects the CLASS brand whilst developing its own identity.
Inside, I created a flexible grid system to keep the design consistent while allowing variety. I designed feature spreads, image-led pages, and data visuals, working with the editorial team to ensure smooth flow and easy reading. By using white space, hierarchy and colour, I guided the reader through long articles.
